About Me - Kevin Campbell

My name is Kevin Campbell and I work with families and their aging parents on making their lives both easier and safer.

The purpose of this website is to provide resources and tools for families and their aging parents so they can make informed decisions and remain as safe and as independent as possible.

I see it everyday... with the right planning, families and their aging parents can save themselves time, money and stress. I also see when there wasn't any planning and this is what led me to create this website.

Families stressed, crying, blaming themselves, blaming others and frantically trying to figure everything out. But this takes time and families cannot do it all at once.

I have seen this scenario too often... an aging parent ends up in the hospital and cannot return to their home because they need assistance. They need to find alternative living arrangements but good quality senior housing options have waiting lists. Do they move them to a poorly run building until they can move into another? Do they move them in with their family and possibly away from their friends? What about their parents money? Has it been managed properly - can they afford assisted living? Were they taking their medications? Could they have prevented the fall and spending the night on the floor?

Unfortunately, many families do not plan ahead. Don't be like many families and leave it till later. Plan ahead and make your life and the life of your parents the best it can be.
