What is Innovative Senior Care?

Innovative Senior Care is Brookdale Senior Living rehabilitation, fitness, education and home health component.

They have a Care3 program with 3 parts: rehabilitation, fitness and education.

The Rehabilitation part consists of physical, occupational and speech therapy, as well as skilled Home Health nursing and therapy services.

The Fitness part provides individualized exercise and wellness programs with components designed to improve strength and balance.

Alzheimer's and Dementia Care

Brookdale Senior Living provides specialized Alzheimer's and Dementia care under their Clare Bridge community name.

Clare Bridge has 4 programs designed specifically for these seniors, including:

Daily Path - The Clare Bridge Daily Path - This is designed so that there is a gentle daily structure (seven days per week) choreographed with a minimum of six programs per day. All are designed to maintain the assisted living residentÕs abilities and encourage the use of their remaining skills.

Dining - The Clare Bridge Dining Program - This is designed by a team of AlzheimerÕs care specialists, a corporate chef, and a registered dietician. This unique dietary program maintains the residentÕs ability to enjoy and master the dining experience.

Training - The Clare Bridge Training Program - This is designed for staff and provides specialized education and training related to dementia and other memory care issues.

Behavioural Problem Solving - The Clare Bridge Behavioral Problem-Solving Program - This is specifically designed AlzheimerÕs care protocols and techniques that enable associates to resolve challenging behaviors resulting from dementia-related issues
