Mattress Shopping for Aging Parents

Hi - we need to purchase a new mattress for my elderly parents.

My dad is having real issues rising and uses the bed covers to pull himself upright each day.

We are looking at the adjustable tempurpedic bed/mattress and am just wondering if you or anyone has had any experience with these or if there is a better option.
